Account & Organization Emails
Flowtly sends account-related emails for registration, authentication, and organisation management.
Registration & activation
When a new user account is created, they receive an activation email with a link to set up their password and activate the account.
Password reset
Users who request a password reset receive an email with a secure, time-limited link to create a new password.
Multi-factor authentication
When MFA via email is enabled, users receive a one-time code by email during login. This code must be entered to complete authentication.
Workspace creation
After registration, if the user does not yet belong to any organisation, they receive an email prompting them to create a new workspace.
Organisation onboarding
When a new organisation is created, the creator receives a welcome/onboarding email with next steps for setting up their workspace.
User invitations
When someone is invited to join an organisation, the invitation email varies based on the recipient's status:
* Active user — receives an invitation email and an in-app notification. They can switch to the new organisation from the organisation chooser
* Registered but inactive user — receives an invitation email with a password setup link (valid for 7 days)
* New user (no account) — receives an invitation email with instructions to register
