Overview
Flowtly Projects covers the essential aspects of managing projects, from creation to profitability analysis. This includes project creation, team management, and time tracking. The system supports various project types: Fixed-price, Time & Material, Non-billable, and Internal.
When creating a project, you can define its name, client, currency, dates, assign team members with per-member rates, and set a unique colour/icon. Flowtly Projects tracks work times, supports invoice generation directly from project data, and allows for budget linkage.
Access and permissions within the Projects feature are controlled by specific roles: ROLE_PROJECTS_VIEWER, ROLE_PROJECTS_MANAGER, ROLE_PROJECTS_LEAD, and ROLE_ACCOUNT_MANAGER. You can interact with Projects through dedicated UI pages, including the /projects list, individual project detail pages, /project-tracking, /project-holiday-planner, and the profitability section.

- Creating and managing a client project (e.g., Fixed-price or Time & Material), assigning team members with per-member rates, tracking work times, and generating invoices based on project data.
- Setting up Internal or Non-billable projects to track team member time on company-specific initiatives without billing, and analyzing associated costs.
- Monitoring project profitability by linking budgets and comparing actual tracked work times and associated costs for team members.
- Utilizing the /project-tracking page to log work times for various projects and managing team member availability through the /project-holiday-planner.
