Protect engagement margin from proposal to final invoice
For consulting firms of 10 to 250 consultants: staffing, contracts and billing rules in one workspace, so partners see margin before the engagement closes.
Staff each engagement role by role, with capacity checks
Read signed contracts straight into the project budget
Apply fixed-fee, T&M and retainer billing rules per engagement
Record why deals are won or lost, with your own reasons
Convert the prospect, upload the signed contract and let Flowtly read its terms.
2
Staff and budget it
Assign people by role and week, and the contract amounts feed the budget.
3
Deliver and bill
Hours and expenses roll into margin and into invoices, by your rules.
For consulting partners and PMOs
Keep engagements, sign-offs and billing under one roof
Flowtly replaces scattered trackers for partners, the PMO and finance. Staff each engagement role by role, keep approvals and documents audit-ready, and apply billing rules automatically across fixed-fee, T&M and retainers.
See who works on each engagement and when, with staffing requests, capacity checks and approvals there when you want them
Centralise documents, versions, and sign-offs with clear ownership
Apply billing and rate rules per engagement so margin is visible before close
What Flowtly does for you
Capabilities matched to how your industry actually works
Keep every engagement on track
Plan scopes, milestones, and resource mixes across advisory, implementation, and managed services.
Track hours, expenses, and approvals in real time so partners and PMOs see accurate burn against budgets.
Streamline collaboration inside and out
Share deliverables, collect feedback, and manage knowledge bases while keeping sensitive documents secure.
Engagement contracts read into your plan
Upload signed client or subcontractor contracts, one at a time or in a batch, and Flowtly reads the parties, dates, payment terms and prices. You review each suggestion, pick the matching counterparty from the suggestions and save.
Once the contract has a payment schedule and is linked to the engagement’s project, its amounts feed that project’s budget as planned income or cost.
Win the next engagement without retyping it
Convert a prospect into a new or existing client: its contacts are copied across, a deal opens at the first pipeline stage with Prospect as its origin, and the prospecting history stays attached. Close on Won, or on Lost with a reason from your own list, so you can count why engagements slip instead of guessing; closed deals stay on the List tab and reopen when a client returns. Creating the project and its contract stays a separate, deliberate step.

Partners lack real-time margin view?
Data from staffing, expenses, and billing lives in separate trackers, so leadership gets stale profitability snapshots.
Flowtly unifies staffing plans, rate cards, and invoices. Margin alerts trigger when burn deviates, and partners drill down by workstream instantly.

Client sign-offs live in inboxes?
Engagement teams rely on email to share deliverables and collect sign-offs, slowing handoffs and leaving no audit trail.
Send the proposal or statement of work for e-signature from Flowtly: upload the PDF, place a signature field for the client and for your partner, and send. The client signs from an emailed link with a one-time code, no Flowtly account needed, and the Signatures list shows which requests are still waiting until the sealed PDF and audit certificate come back.

Staffing agreed in chat, with no check on who is already busy?
Partners ask for people in messages and calls, so whoever approves a move cannot see whether it overloads someone on another engagement until the week arrives.
See who is already booked, on what and for how long, before you promise anyone. When you want the decision recorded, an engagement lead requests a person for a role with the share, dates and a note; approvers see whether approving would push anyone over capacity, and can approve, approve at a lower share, or decline. An approved request becomes the confirmed booking.

Billing rules differ by matter and get applied late?
Fixed-fee, T&M, and retainers each have their own rules, but they’re applied in spreadsheets after work is done—causing write-offs and disputes.
Set billing rules per matter in Flowtly: retainers with drawdowns, fixed-fee milestones, or T&M with rate cards. Approvals, time, and expenses feed invoices automatically so partners see margin before closing.

Invoices aligned to SOW rules

Consulting OS
Run engagements with clarity
Standardise intake, delivery, and finances so partners see status, risks, and profitability in one place.
Repeatable engagements start from a project template with dated phases and task lists.
Approvals, risks, and compliance logged along each milestone.
Executive dashboards show utilisation and margin in real time.
Engagement control
Provide partners a live margin and staffing cockpit
Scope, staffing, billing, and document control stay auditable for every workstream.
Sales runs in separate steps. While prospecting, you log every call, message and reply against a company. When it is ready, converting turns it into a new or existing customer, copies its contacts and opens a deal in the first pipeline stage, marked with Prospect as its origin. You then move the deal through the pipeline and close it on Won or Lost, choosing a reason from a fixed list when it is lost, so lost work is countable at quarter end. Winning a deal records the outcome; it does not create the project or contract for you, so setting up the engagement is its own next step. Access comes in three roles: Sales Viewer, Sales Operator and Sales Manager.
How does Flowtly control SOW changes?
Each engagement tracks scope, milestones, and budgets. Change requests update allocations, approvals, and downstream invoicing automatically.
Can clients review deliverables and approvals inside Flowtly?
Invite clients into secure workspaces or share dedicated portals. They can comment on deliverables, approve stages, and see history without email threads.
How do we forecast capacity and revenue?
Pipeline, staffing, and rate cards combine into rolling forecasts so partners see utilisation gaps and revenue projections per practice.
Can Flowtly handle fixed-fee, T&M, and retainers together?
Yes. Create each matter type with its billing rules—drawdowns for retainers, milestones for fixed-fee, or T&M with rate cards. Approvals, time, and expenses keep invoices aligned automatically.
Can we control who gets staffed on an engagement?
Yes, through roles and approval. Each project lists the roles it needs, drawn from your positions list, and staffing can go through a request that an approver confirms, approves at a lower share or declines, with a capacity check shown before they decide. Flowtly does not apply credential or practice rules automatically; the approver makes that call.
Where do documents and approvals live—can clients sign off?
Clients sign off by e-signature: send the proposal, statement of work or deliverable as a PDF from the Signatures page, and the client signs from an emailed link after confirming a one-time code, without a Flowtly account. You get a sealed PDF with an audit certificate, and the Signatures list shows which sign-offs are still outstanding.
