Billing rates

Flowtly Editorial Team2 min

Billing rates is one of the advanced settings, found under Settings → Advanced → Billing rates. It lets you set the organization's default prices for attributes, so that when an attribute drives billing the right rate is applied automatically.

Default prices

Open the Default prices tab to manage the rates:

  • Add a price to associate a default rate with an attribute.
  • Edit a price to update an existing rate as your pricing changes.

These defaults are applied wherever the attribute is used for billing, which keeps rates consistent instead of being entered by hand each time.

Managing billing rates requires the Attributes manager role; other users can view the values but not change them.

Example use cases

  • Setting a standard hourly rate tied to a "Seniority" attribute.
  • Updating the default price for a service attribute after a price change.
