Countries
"Settings" → "Administration" → "Countries" lists the countries your organization can choose from wherever a record asks for a country, such as the country of a client or a counterparty.
Who can change it
Administrators, and team members whose permission group includes the Countries Manager permission, can open this screen. The permission is offered in every organization.
The controls on this screen
The page is a table with two columns, sorted by Name by default:
- Name: the country's name, in your language.
- ISO Code: the two-letter code of the country.
Both column headings sort the list. On a narrow screen each country appears as a card with its name and its ISO Code. The list is read-only: you cannot edit or remove a country from it.
Add country: opens a dialog titled Add country. Its Select country field lists the countries that are not yet in the table; when there are none it shows No countries available. The dialog has Cancel and Save.
Flowtly keeps the set of countries itself, from a fixed catalogue. Saving the dialog does not add a country to the list: the server accepts no new countries from this screen. To ask for a country that is missing, contact Flowtly support.
Example use cases
- A team member checks which countries are available before recording a client abroad.
- An administrator looks up the ISO code of a country to match it against an external file.
