Signing in

Flowtly Editorial Team1 min

Sign in to your workspace at workspace.flowtly.eu with your email address and the password you chose when your account was activated. On a phone or tablet, the Flowtly app signs you in to the same workspace — see Install Flowtly on your device.

If your password is not accepted

Flowtly answers the same way whether the email address or the password is wrong, so check both — an address typed with the wrong domain looks exactly like a wrong password from the sign-in screen.

If you are not sure of your password, choose Forgot password and enter your email address. Flowtly sends you a time-limited link to set a new one; Account & Organization Emails describes that message and the other emails your account can send you.

If you are asked to try again later

Failed sign-in attempts are counted. After a number of failures in a row, Flowtly stops accepting further attempts for a while and shows a message asking you to try again shortly.

Your account is not broken and there is nothing for an administrator to unlock — the pause ends by itself. Wait, then sign in again. A successful sign-in clears the count, so if you are unsure of your password, request a reset while you wait and use the new one on your next attempt.

Only failed attempts are counted. Signing in repeatedly for ordinary reasons — switching devices, or returning to Flowtly through the day — does not lead to a pause.

If you are asked for a one-time code

Some organisations require a second step after the password: a one-time code from an authenticator app, or a code sent to you by email. Enter the code to finish signing in. You can mark the device you are using as trusted, so that it does not ask again on that device.

Example use cases

  • Someone returning from a long break who cannot remember which password they set, and resets it from the sign-in screen.
  • A colleague who mistyped their password several times, is asked to wait, and signs in again once the pause has ended rather than raising a support request.
  • A new starter signing in for the first time after activating the account they were invited to.
