Settings

The "Settings" area in Flowtly is where administrators configure the core behavior of the platform to match their organization's requirements. It covers a wide range of options, from basic organization profile details to advanced security and integration settings.
Organization settings include company information, default currency, fiscal year configuration, and localization preferences. These foundational settings influence how data is displayed and processed throughout the entire platform, so it is important to configure them correctly during initial setup.
Security and authentication settings allow administrators to enforce single sign-on (SSO) through providers such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, or other SAML/OIDC-compatible identity providers. Password policies, session timeouts, and two-factor authentication requirements can also be managed here to meet your organization's security standards.
Widget configuration lets administrators customize the dashboard experience for different user roles by selecting which summary panels, charts, and quick-access links appear on the home screen. Invoicing configuration covers default payment terms, numbering schemes, tax settings, and templates that apply to all invoices generated within the platform.

Example use cases

  • Configure SSO integration with your corporate identity provider to streamline employee access.
  • Set the organization's default currency and fiscal year start date during initial platform setup.
  • Customize dashboard widgets so that different teams see the metrics most relevant to their roles.
  • Define default invoicing templates, payment terms, and numbering sequences for consistent billing.
  • Manage security policies including session timeouts and two-factor authentication requirements.
