The Objectives page

Navigate to Performance → Objectives to see all objectives you have access to. The page provides several tools to focus your view.

Scope tabs

  • Organization — all Company-level objectives, visible to every user.
  • Team — Department-level objectives for your department (or all departments if you are a manager or HR manager).
  • Mine — your own Individual objectives plus any Individual objectives you manage as a direct manager or HR manager.

Year selector

Use the Year picker to filter objectives by their period. An objective appears under the year its period falls in. Switching years lets you review historical OKR results or plan future cycles.

The search bar filters objectives by title in real time. Use it to find a specific goal when the list is long.

Level filter

Filter the list to show only Individual, Department, or Company objectives, or any combination. Combine the level filter with the scope tab to narrow down to exactly what you need — for example, all Company objectives visible organization-wide, or only Individual objectives within your team.

Objective cards

Each objective is displayed as a card showing:

  • Title and owner
  • Level badge (Individual / Department / Company)
  • Period (start and end dates)
  • Each Key Result with its title, weight, and current status or outcome
  • Weighted realization % — the objective's overall progress score

Click a card to open the full detail view, where you can add or edit Key Results, update statuses, and record outcomes.

How realization is calculated

The realization percentage is a weighted average of the outcomes of all Key Results on the objective:

  • Met → 100% credit
  • Exceeded → 100% credit
  • Partial → 50% credit
  • Missed or not yet assessed → 0% credit

Each Key Result's credit is multiplied by its weight, and the results are summed. For example, if an objective has two Key Results — one with weight 60% (outcome: Met) and one with weight 40% (outcome: Partial) — the realization is (60% × 100%) + (40% × 50%) = 80%.

If a Key Result has not yet been assessed, it contributes 0% to the score, which means realization starts at 0% and builds as outcomes are recorded. This makes the score a live indicator of how much of the objective has been formally confirmed as achieved.

Who can view and manage objectives

Viewing:

  • Company objectives are visible to all users in the workspace.
  • Department objectives are visible to all members of that department, their managers, and HR managers.
  • Individual objectives are visible to the owner, their direct manager, and HR managers.

Creating, editing, and deleting:

  • HR managers can create, edit, and delete any objective at any level.
  • The owner can edit and update their own objectives and Key Results, including recording statuses and outcomes.
  • The owner's direct manager can create, edit, and delete objectives for their direct reports, and record Key Result outcomes.

Regular team members can view objectives they have access to but cannot create or modify objectives they do not own.

Example use cases

  • A team lead opens the Team tab each week to check Key Result statuses across the department, spotting any goals at risk before the end of the cycle.
  • An HR manager uses the Organization tab with the Company level filter to present OKR results to the board at the end of the quarter.
  • An employee opens Mine at the start of each month to update their Key Result statuses from "To do" to "In progress" as work gets underway.
