The Signatures page

Flowtly Editorial Team2 min

The Signatures page is the single place in Flowtly where you can send any document for electronic signature and monitor every outstanding request from one list. Unlike the e-signature option available on individual contracts, the Signatures page works with any file — employment agreements, NDAs, service proposals, or any other document that requires a formal sign-off.

Where to find it

Open Signatures from the main sidebar (it sits between Contracts and Bank accounts/Transactions). The page is available to any user with document management permissions in your organization.

How to send a document for signature

  1. Click Send for signature to open the sending dialog.
  2. Upload the document you want signed, or select one already stored in Flowtly.
  3. Add the signatories — enter each person's name and email address.
  4. Place signature fields on the document. Drag and drop a signature block onto the page to mark exactly where each party should sign. You can add multiple fields for multiple signatories.
  5. Review the request and click Send. Each signatory receives a secure email with a unique link.

Reading the status list

The Signatures page displays all requests your organization has sent. Each row shows:

Column What it tells you
Document The name of the file sent for signature
Signatories Who needs to sign, with an indicator per person
Status The current state of the request — Sent, Partially signed, Completed, Declined, or Expired
Contract Links back to the originating contract when the request was created from a contract record
Sent on The date the request was dispatched

Click any row to open the request detail, where you can see the individual signing status of each party and download the completed documents once all parties have signed.

Relationship to contract e-signatures

Flowtly also lets you send contracts from the Contracts section directly for e-signature — a quick shortcut when the document is already stored as a contract record. Both flows use the same secure signing infrastructure; the Signatures page simply gives you a broader view across all document types and a unified status list regardless of where the document originated.
