What's new in Flowtly: July 2026

Jul 31, 2026

July was the month Flowtly got a new coat of paint and, more usefully, a much faster and more honest view of budgets. Here is what changed, area by area.

A refreshed app, and filters that work the same everywhere

Flowtly moved to a new design system in early July: a lighter sidebar by default, clearer KPI strips and one icon set across the app. Every list page now shares the same toolbar, with search, filter chips and date presets in the same place, so you stop relearning each screen.

  • Mobile: a simpler bottom bar, a create button that adapts to the screen you are on, and the notifications bell within reach.
  • Bursts of similar notifications are grouped, so five analysed contracts arrive as one message, not five.

Budgets you can trust and drill into

  • Budget execution by tag group. Execution now rolls up by tag group, with completion rings and a drawer that shows each tag's detail.
  • P&L by tags, redesigned. Grouped labels, sticky columns, collapsed by default. Click any cell, in P&L by tags or costs by project, to see the documents behind the number.
  • Initial budget, visible. KPIs and a column for the initial budget, plus a plan column per project driven by its contracts.
  • The budget list is now a set of scannable cards, and you can pin the projects and budgets you open most.
  • The budget page loads in about half a second instead of 25, and the transactions view in about a second instead of seven.

Invoicing and payments

  • Unpaid invoices carry a planned payment date you can sort by, and the payment export knows your bank, including Polish split payment (MPP).
  • SEPA exports no longer merge separate payments, and ING Multicash PLI joins the export formats.
  • “Create similar” starts a new invoice from an existing one, with a new PDF preview.
  • Default cost tags per organisation and per counterparty, and tag suggestions on incoming invoices, including suggestions read from the invoice content.
  • Link an incoming invoice to a contract, and filter incoming invoices by counterparty and project.
  • Split one bank cost across several projects, and change the counterparty on many transactions at once.

Time, leave and people

  • Dictate time-entry descriptions by voice, including native speech recognition on Android.
  • Work time is measured against each person's contracted hours, not a flat eight-hour day, and hourly freelancers without fixed availability are supported.
  • Create a task while you log time, and record which client contact asked for it.
  • HR and holiday managers can receive notifications and receipts for leave activity, with a switch in settings.

New markets and accountancy exports

  • Singapore (GST, SGD) and Cameroon (VAT, XAF) are supported from onboarding to invoicing.
  • Accountancy exports add WAPRO Kaper XML and a format picker, and leave can be exported for WAPRO and enova365 Kadry.
  • More than 500 missing German, Spanish, French, Polish and Ukrainian strings were filled in.

Meters and asset pricing

If you re-invoice metered consumption, you can now preview what the meters will bill, see how each quantity was calculated and bill between any two readings. Projects can also price a single asset, such as one parking space, with dates from which each price applies.

Key takeaways

  • One consistent design and toolbar across every list.
  • Budgets roll up by tag group and every number links to its documents, and the budget page now loads in about half a second instead of 25.
  • Payment exports cover split payment, ING Multicash and cleaner SEPA files.
  • Work time follows each person's real contract.
