P.S.A. (simple joint-stock company)
GeneralProsta spółka akcyjna, a Polish company form available since 1 July 2021 and designed with start-ups in mind. Its shareholders are not liable for the company's debts, and it can be founded with a share capital of 1 złoty.
Why it matters
The P.S.A. lets founders issue shares in return for work or know-how and raise money without the capital requirements and formalities of a classic joint-stock company. Its shares are recorded in an electronic shareholder register rather than issued as paper documents.
Worked example
Flowtly itself is a P.S.A.: its legal name is Flowtly P.S.A. Where PSA follows the Flowtly name, it means this company form, not a software category.
