Notifications

Flowtly delivers notifications in two ways: an in-app feed in the top navigation bar and push notifications to your devices.

In-app notification feed

The bell icon in the top navigation bar (desktop) shows your recent notifications. Click the bell to open the dropdown feed. Each notification can be marked as read; read state is tracked per user, so marking a notification read only affects your own view.

Push notifications

Flowtly sends push notifications via Firebase to your web browser and mobile app. Push registration is per device and delivery is de-duplicated per device token, so you will not receive the same notification twice on the same device.

To enable push notifications, open Flowtly in your browser or the mobile app and click Allow when prompted for notification permission. If you previously blocked the prompt, grant permission via your browser's site settings or your phone's app notification settings for Flowtly.
